Victor's top of the line machine in 1915-1916, the gorgeous serpentine Victrola XVIII started at a price of $300. Only around 3400 were sold in the spring motor version seen here. There was also an electric motor option, initially more expensive, but today generally deemed less desirable than the spring motor machine.

This machine does not appear to have been refinished and shows off its original mahogany striping quite spectacularly.

Mechanically, I have pulled, cleaned and re-greased all three mainsprings, polished the governor shaft, and lubricated everything in the motor. I also rebuilt the reproducer.

There are no dings, dents or damage to the cabinet. There is some very minor distress on the fine trim surrounding the motorboard (see pictures).

It doesn't get much better than this in a Victrola.
