Introduced in 1906 at a cost of $60, the Victor V was Victor's second best, second most expensive machine. The triple spring motor allowed extended playing time. The serial number (32,431 out of around 68,000 manufactured) indicates that this example was made sometime prior to 1910.

This is a glorious example, with beautiful original ribbed wooden horn. The reproducer has been rebuilt, and has been fitted with a new flange for airtightness. The motor is working properly, and the governor and drive gear have been adjusted to eliminate some of the turntable clatter often heard on Victor machines. The cabinet has been professionally refinished with original materials to a honey oak color and looks absolutely stunning. The nickel plating on the brake and speed control is still good and the backbracket has very nice original stencilwork. This machine even comes with the original crank. The wooden horn has not been refinished and still has a nice original Victor decal. The horn has two or three small dings, but no separation in the panels or split across the panels as usually found.Wooden horn machines are very popular and always bring a premium.

Absolutely gorgeous -- take it home and love it.
