19 5/8" Polyphon music box with base cabinet for sale

Truly a monster box, this big, impressive Polyphon with original base stands almost six feet tall. The upperworks has had quite a bit of restoration: the dampers were completely redone, and the combs honed and retuned. The original coin-op mechanism is intact and working. The base opens forward with flour bin type storage. Case is quite respectable--nice walnut veneer with a small amount of wear and typical wormholes on a small portion of the base molding only. No crest. The base cabinet has had some minor veneer and molding restoration. It's difficult to find a big European machine like this with the original base cabinet. Includes 10 discs.
