Edison Standard Phonograph with original green oak finish for sale

Here's a really nice example of the Edison model A machinery of 1901-1904, an Edison Standard Phonograph with the ever popular green oak finish and original banner decal.

Please don't confuse this machine with some example you might find on ebay or some other venue. Our machine not only looks great, but it also plays great. It plays great because I totally take these machines apart and put them back together. I clean and inspect all the bushings and the gearing, clean and polish the governor, even remove and regrease the mainspring. Our goal is to get these machines to sound and work as good as they did when they left the Edison factory, and to be as trouble free for you as possible. We get enough of other people's ebay purchases to repair as it is.

The Standard with its compact design was a very reliable model, and this Standard with its funky green oak cabinet and golden banner decal would be an excellent starter machine. Includes 14" replica horn, and five very nice two minute records.
