This Edison Home Phonograph ca 1904-1909 has been both cosmetically and mechanically restored.
The case has been nicely refinished with a new decal.
All the parts in the motor and upperworks have been taken apart, cleaned, inspected, lubricated and adjusted. On this particular machine, a new mainspring was put in the spring barrel, and the lower belt pulley, which often warps and slips, was replaced with a reproduction part. The machine was rebelted, and now plays smoothly and is ready to go.
The unusual brass morning glory horn (probably brass plate) is in very decent condition, no appreciable dings or dents, with some typical separation on one of the panel seams.
The horn craning is not an exact reproduction of the Edison morning glory type, but is very close in design and spirit.
Price includes 5 nice original cylinder records.
