Last of the Edison shaving machines, the four minute shaver was introduced in 1912 for use with the new four minute wax Amberol records.
This example in an oak case still has the original Edison decal. The crank handle has broken off, but the missing portion is still present, and could possibly be welded back in place. It retains the original screw-on wooden handle to raise and lower the blade. The handle was easily removed, and was often lost.
We buy, sell, and repair antique phonographs and music boxes.
