Edison Postcard Marie Kaiser for sale
This pretty color lithographed postcard of Edison soprano Marie Kaiser dates to around 1915, when assorted Edison artists were trotted out around the country to participate in an Edison Tone Test advertising campaign. The artists sang in a blind test against a recording of their voice, and the public was challenged to discover which performance was live. According to the postcard, she proved that Edison's Re-Creation of her voice was 'indistinguishable from the original.'
