Edison Model A Gem - Drip Pan

This is the earliest version of the Edison Gem Phonograph, introduced in 1899. It is the only version that was never enclosed in a wooden case, and was fitted with neither wooden base nor lid. A metal drip pan was secured to the bottom of the machine.
