Madame Hendren Dolly Rekord with picture and good luck charm

This is one of the nicest Madame Hendren Dolly Rekord phonograph dolls that I have ever owned. The composition is in far better than average condition with minimal crazing and paint flaking, which you can see in the images. (I've never had one of these without some deterioration in the composition.)She has her original human hair wig. This Dolly is working, talks well, and comes with one of the original blue nursery rhyme cylinder records.

As you may know, most of these dolls were given away as premiums, and what makes this example special is that I have a large nine by seven picture of the little girl that originally won this very doll in a newspaper subscription contest in upstate New York. You can see her proudly holding her prize. She kept this doll into her old age. The doll also comes with its original brass good luck charm coin, which has a picture of the doll on the front and a swastica for good luck on the back. $750
