"Big" Victor One
$1000

This machine is the late, very last version of the Victor One (Vic 1). Because it comes in an oversize case as compared to most examples of the Victor I, it is sometimes referred to by collectors as the Big One. The case is 13 inches square at the base, and the Big One was fitted with an early Victrola type motor and drop-in type elbow. This example has original finish and is working properly. It has been upgraded to very strong Victrola Number Two reproducer and sounds excellent. There is some corrosion on the backbracket and the original elbow is weathering down to the brass (see images). The knurled hold down screws for the backbracket are new, and are the only non-old part of the machine. The black petalled original Victor horn is approximately 22" long with a 19" bell. The interior of the horn has a few scratches, a few spots of touch up, and some weathering and minor corrosion, but is still quite respectable (see images). The exterior of the horn has typical weathering and corrosion, but still has the original Victor decal. This Victor I is the least expensive outside horn Victor you are likely to find. $1000
